Bruce Flyn and Associates has been providing
construction inspection services for California Public Schools
Districts since 1990. During that time BFA has grown from
a staff of one inspector to our current level of nine DSA
certified project inspectors. Being able to provide our large
clients with this level of staffing provides continuity in
inspections throughout the district. Of the nine inspectors,
five are DSA certified Class 1 inspectors and four are DSA
certified Class 2 inspectors.
In addition to providing DSA project inspections,
we also provide on a case by case basis "Special Inspections"
such as welding, concrete sample and testing, proof load and
torque testing.
Our client list includes: East Side Union High
School District, San Jose Unified School District, San Jose/Evergreen
Community College District, Chabot/Los Positas Community College
District, West Valley/Mission Community College District,
Alum Rock Union School District, Milpitas Unified School District,
Union School District, Morgan Hill Unified School District,
Gilroy Unified School District, San Jose State University,
Campbell Union School District, Moreland School District,
Sunnyvale School District, Fremont Union High School District,
and the Santa Clara County Office of Education.
Our mission as project inspectors is to insure
that the students and staffs attending and working in our
school districts have a safe and quality educational facility.
Further we feel that because of our knowledge of construction
from hands on experience, and knowledge of the actual construction
contract, we bring an element of common sense and appreciation
for the construction designers, managers, and trades resulting
in a more cohesive construction project.
We truly feel that from the School Board
down through the construction labors, that a true team effort
is required for a successful project. BFA has and always will
continue to work to that end.
